Hank Haldeman, President

Hank HaldemanHank is President of G. J. Sullivan, Excess and Surplus Lines Brokers.

Hank began his insurance career in 1980 as a wholesale broker, specializing in biotechnology, product and professional liability, alternative risk and environmental liabilities with Stewart Smith West, Inc. where he became Vice President and Director. In 1986, Hank took on the Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President and Branch Manager roles at Henry Ward Johnson & Co., responsible for the Western states operations of the wholesale broking subsidiary of Johnson & Higgins.

Hank joined The Sullivan Group in 1997 as Senior Vice President and Director. His responsibilities have included President of GJS Re, of Sullivan Healthcare Insurance Services, and of Sullivan Wholesale Holding Co. Hank also serves as Executive Vice President of the Sullivan Group.

Paul Bubnis, Vice President

Paul BubnisPaul is the Vice President at G. J. Sullivan Co. and the Managing General Underwriter for the Travelers Wrap+ for Health Care Organizations ProgramSM. As Program Manager, Paul's responsibilities include the specialized underwriting oversight of Directors and Officers Liability, and Wrongful Employment Practices Liability for over 1,500 hospitals and allied health care organizations.

Paul has a broad D&O/EPL product and industry knowledge backed by 28 years of underwriting experience. Paul began his insurance career in 1984 as a public company D&O underwriter at National Union Fire Insurance Company/AIG. In 1993, he went to work at RLI, in California, where he specialized in the more difficult technology and healthcare D&O industry sectors. Since 1998 Paul has been managing the Health Care D&O/EPL Program for G.J. Sullivan.

Deborah Mesko, Vice President

Debbie Mesko Deborah Mesko has built a strong reputation in the industry for marketing and underwriting specialty programs. Deborah began her career in 1983 working with Anderson & Murison, Inc., in Los Angeles, CA, specializing in Commercial Auto and Garage lines of insurance.

Deborah joined G. J. Sullivan Co. in 1995 in the Program Division, and soon her responsibilities included division-wide management and marketing. Deborah oversees all aspects of the Program Division, and under her watch it has consistently generated solid and profitable books of business. In 1999 she was promoted to Vice President.

Cindy Hernandez, Assistant Vice President, Office & Operations Manager

Cindy HernandezCindy joined the G. J. Sullivan Company in 1977. In Cindy's tenure with the company her roles and responsibilities have been diverse.

Cindy's experience with the company includes working in the Corporate Office for 20 years as the Personal Assistant to the Chairman, Mr. Gerald J. Sullivan.

In 1997 Cindy moved to the Orange County Office as Office Manager and liaison to the President's Office.
